In 2020, my wife, Diane, and I visited our old college friend, Mike Oberlander in Palm Desert, CA. He is the Head PGA Professional at Ironwood Golf Club. Mike kindly comped us a round of golf at Ironwood. As a thank you, I painted this view of a par-3 hole at Ironwood and shipped it to Mike. A year later, I visited Mike in his pro shop, and there was the painting on display.
