In 2012, I visited The Netherlands. It was tulip season, so naturally I took dozens of pics. Seven years later, I decide to capture the tulip fields in these two small oil paintings. My brother in-law lives in St. Paul, MN, and grew up in Amsterdam. He remains a Dutch citizen. I gave him this painting Dutch Tulips 1. He still has family in Amsterdam, and they have been kind to me and my family. I gave them Dutch Tulips 2.
