After more than four decades working across government, private, nonprofit, and education sectors, I’ve learned that one passion has remained constant: painting. What began as a steady creative outlet has become a full-fledged obsession in this next chapter of life. I’m drawn to the way light transforms both natural and built environments; the quiet drama across a prairie, the geometry of historic architecture, the character of a favorite golf course. My work reflects these fascinations, often inspired by the places and landscapes that shape life in and around South Dakota.

What makes my process unique is that I don’t paint for myself. I paint for others. I specialize in commissioned pieces that hold personal meaning, whether it’s a childhood farmstead, a beloved streetscape, or a course where someone played the round of their life.
