The Coachella Valley in southern California is special to my wife, Diane, and me. We have visited there for a few weeks in each of the past 10 winters...when the weather is great. The landscape is spectacular, there’s a golf course on almost every corner, and we have friends and family in the area. This painting shows an early morning view of a pond and golf green (on the left) within the Tradition Golf Club in La Quinta CA. Tradition is the most beautiful golf course I’ve ever seen. The light, color, and depth of this scene captivated me. Kevin and Peggy Kirby purchased this painting, and it hangs in their home in La Quinta.
