Sutton Bay
Piper Arts had a spare stretched canvas, and I snapped it up. I had played the Sutton Bay golf course a couple of times. I loved the bay, especially as dramatic clouds flew by. As usual, I took dozens of pics. I painted this scene mainly for the challenge of it all. However, based on a hunch, I emailed a pic of my painting to the Sutton Bay Club general manager, and asked if he would be interested in buying it. He quickly said yes. I borrowed Jon Piper’s pickup truck and delivered the painting. My pay included a couple rounds of golf for my wife and me.
