Wintery SD Morning

My son-in-law’s parents, Rich and Lorah Jankord, are good friends to my wife and me. They gave me a small photo of a wintery, icy rural scene somewhere in eastern South Dakota. They said they loved the scene, and if I ever had a little time to create a painting from the photo, they would gladly hire me. Several months later, I found the time. The painting hangs in Rich and Lorah’s living room in their home in Sioux Falls.

2018. Oil on Canvas Board. 11 by 14 inches.
