Normandy Invasion

Leaders of Silencer Central in Sioux Falls asked Jon Piper of Piper Arts to recommend an artist who would create a large artwork with the themes of patriotism and the military. When Jon asked me for ideas, I immediately thought of the World War II Normandy Invasion in 1944. (I’m not sure why.) The client accepted the idea, and this large painting is the result. It hangs in the offices of Silence Central.

2023. Oil on Canvas. 36 by 65 inches.
