Central Fire Station

1983. Ink on Paper. 11 by 14 inches.

I wanted to draw this historical, still functioning fire station with its 65-foot bell tower. The tower was removed in 1957 due structural weaknesses. It had a dual purpose: 1) house the bell, and 2) drain and store fire hoses. I own this piece. I made prints and sold a few over the years, mostly to firemen. If anyone would like some prints, let me know. I have a stack in my basement.
