South First Avenue

2016. Watercolor on Illustration Board. 9 by 15 inches.

In 2016, I had an art show at the Washington Pavilion. The name of the show was “Familiar Places.” I created a few pieces for the show, and I filled in the show with my art I found around town. For example, I borrowed several pieces of my art owned by Davenport Evans, Sammons Financial, and the State Theater. I created these two pieces for the show. They are additional symbols of my fascination with older residential architecture. I also was trying to capture the “feel” of neighborhoods.
