In 2017, a woman contacted me through my website. She lives in Seattle WA now, but as a child she lived in Sioux Falls, just south of McKennan Park. She walked on Pendar Lane thousands of times, going to and from the park to play. Her favorite memories were of walking through snow.  She commissioned me to paint this scene of Pendar Lane, the morning after a snowfall, and before the plows come through. The park is in the background.
