Sioux Falls

I coached my daughter’s club soccer team for several years. As the girls approached the age of 13, the parents decided to do something truly special: take the girls to England and play English girls soccer teams in a series of “friendlies.” It seemed like an impossible dream when someone first mentioned it, mainly because of the cost. However, everyone got behind the idea, and we carried out a series of fundraisers. For one fundraiser, I drew views of the Sioux Falls, made prints, signed and numbered the prints, and the girls sold them around Sioux Falls. We also made notecards from the three small sketches of the Falls, and the girls sold those, too. The trip was amazing.
