This painting was an experiment. I was encouraged by an artist friend to add more color to my paintings. I had been wanting to paint the Pettigrew House in Sioux Falls. So, I tried to emphasize the color of the building during a late winter afternoon. I donated this piece to a Sioux Falls nonprofit fundraiser. Paul and Julie Bruflat purchased this piece.
