The Rock

Ink on Paper. 9 by 24 inches.

As the transformation of Sioux Falls Washington from a high school to the community jewel it is today, the Washington Pavilion Fundraising Committee commissioned me to create these three works of art. The committee made prints of each piece. They served as “premiums,” or gifts for donors. I don’t recall the giving levels needed to receive which print. However, I do recall that people at the highest giving level received prints of The Rock. The committee gave the original of The Rock to the Kirby family. The originals of the two watercolors are owned by the Washington Pavilion. I still have a few prints of each piece.
