When I was 27 years old, I created this sketch and gave the copyright to the church. I hoped the church leaders would print it for bulletin covers, newsletter imagery, notecards, and more. My hope has been reality for over 43 years. The image still appears on church materials. I still recall Sr. Pastor Dennis Griffin telling me that the open branches of the tree on the left suggest Christian welcome and receptivity -- a community open to the Holy Spirit.
